BAD RAP's award winning Pit Ed Classes are designed to help you and your dog learn how to be a better team. Your pet will learn self control around intense distractions, and you'll learn safe, humane handling skills so he can be a Breed Ambassador. We cover current events that affect your pet, understanding dog tolerance levels, basic obedience, socialization, responsible ownership must-knows, keeping your dogs safe from negative experiences, and basic problem solving.

BAD RAP was proud to receive the American Humane Association's 2006 Award for Best Practices in Behavior and Training.

Classes are $100 for seven weeks of instruction and include a lifetime of free training and support once you've completed the course. The first class is a no-dogs class. Dogs from BAD RAP or from Berkeley Animal Care Services get immediate access and attend FREE of charge.

Beginning Class meets in Berkeley from 10-11am on either Saturday or Sunday, depending on our current schedule. Sorry, no other locations at this time and NO PUPPIES under 10 months old. Also, please note that we're unable to help folks looking to improve off leash manners.

Classes Run Very FULL and the normal wait is up to six-nine months to get in. If you're desperate however and your dog's life is on the line, please tell us your situation. To get on the wait list, fill out the form with your information. Thank you for your patience as we try to get you and your dog some help!

Thanks for wanting to work your dog!
