The Canine Good Citizen Award rewards dog owners who've
encouraged good behavior and basic obedience skills in their pets. Most of the
pit bulls taking these tests are rescued dogs from local animal shelters. During
these trying times when pit bull hysteria is at an all time high, this title
helps your dog earn respect as a valuable member of the community.

Coach Linda
We're so grateful to
Linda Chwistek (pictured with her boy Aldo) for her generosity and gifted CGC coaching skills. Linda gives up every Saturday
to prep the handler/dog teams and she keeps the bar high, so they really have
to work hard to earn an honest award.
Right: Linda's pit bull Ruby has become a Star in record time. She started doing agility when she was five. At seven years old, Ruby has already
earned these titles: CGC, NAP, NJP, CL1, CL2-R,H and in the 2006 CPE Nationals High in Standard, Level 2, 20." That's some accomplishment. Congrats to both!
