Help Rescue Dogs!

Millions of dogs are housed in shelters across America!
You can help provide beds, food, walks, love, and more.

The Vick Rescue Dogs:

Volunteer!

- See if your local shelter needs help: Walking dogs, bathing dogs, taking photos, updating their website with fresh images.
- Have a video camera? Take mini-movies of local shelter dogs to help them get adopted.
- Volunteer to take a shelter dog through training class so he can become more adoptable.
- Start a Kong Ball drive for your local shelter. Pit bulls need something to do while they wait for a home. (Large Kongs work best)
- See if your local shelter could use these items for their dogs: Kiddie pools for the summer heat, warm bedding, old soccer balls for yard fun, stuffed toys
- Donate a dog bed so a shelter dog can get a good night's sleep
- Donate attractive collars to your local shelter so their pit bulls look handsome for the visitors. The average pit bull wears a collar that's 18"-24"
- Help your neighbors find free and low-cost spay/neuter resources for their dogs
